Online Residency 2026

Research Residency: Maximum 6 participants per cohort

This is a live six-session program delivered in English over three weeks with two sessions per week and 1.5 hours per session. The goal is to develop an idea and research proposal reflecting the Venice Biennale’s theme this year. Designed for artists and creative thinkers who want to learn more with the Venice Biennale regardless of where they are based. Participants will engage in interactive sessions and develop microresearch and methodology for translating current curatorial thinking into their own professional practice.

Onsite BIENNALE 2026

Guide and Observation: Maximum 6 participants per group

This pathway is for those coming to Venice in person. Over two days, a guided mentorship built around observation of the Biennale. Each day consists of two guided visits of 1.5 hours each, with a lunch break between them. We will investigate the Arsenale and the Giardini as primary venues and extend beyond them to the national pavilions and independent exhibitions scattered across the city, building a comprehensive picture of the Venetian art landscape.

Included: Biennale entrance ticket and transportation pass.
